Skincare for water

Protection, before it's needed.

A barrier-first mist for skin exposed to chlorine, sun, salt, and repeated swimming — built around NOLÉA AQUASHIELD™ Technology, starting with young swimmers.

Fragrance-free Lightweight Water-sport ready

Formulated with a cosmetic chemist, informed by a pediatric-safety perspective on children's skin.

Why it exists

Repeated exposure, rarely considered.

For a child in the pool most days, chlorine isn't an occasional event — it's cumulative. Dryness and tightness are usually signs of an ongoing pattern, not a one-time reaction. Most products only show up after that pattern has already taken hold.

Support should start earlier

NOLÉA is built around a full sequence — before contact and after it — not aftercare alone.

Built from real exposure

Shaped by what repeated swimming actually does to skin, not by a theoretical need.

The technology
NOLÉA AQUASHIELD Technology
Prepare Protect Recover

A proprietary approach to skin under water stress — not a single ingredient, but a sequence. At its core, AQUASHIELD forms a lightweight, biomimetic shield on the skin's surface, designed to help minimize chlorine absorption and reduce irritation. Everything about NOLÉA is built around this framework, from formulation to routine.

01 · Before contact

Prepare

A lightweight mist applied before swimming, priming the barrier before chlorine, sun, and salt ever make contact.

02 · During exposure

Protect

A biomimetic shield forms on the skin's surface, helping minimize chlorine absorption and reduce irritation through repeated, cumulative contact — not just resist a single dip.

03 · After contact

Recover

Replenishes hydration and helps skin settle after swimming, so the pattern of exposure doesn't compound.

Powered in part by extremolytes such as Ectoin and Hydroxyectoin — ingredients studied for supporting hydration and barrier resilience under environmental stress — in lightweight systems designed for frequent, everyday use.

How to use it

Simple enough to keep.

01
Before swimming

Mist the barrier

Apply to clean, dry skin before pool time, alongside sunscreen.

02
After swimming

Rinse & replenish

Reapply after rinsing to restore hydration and help skin feel calmer.

Founder

Born poolside, not in a boardroom.

Built by a mother, informed by science.

NOLÉA started at the pool deck, not in a lab. Founder Stoja Guner spent countless hours there with her two boys — swim lessons, water polo practice, meets — and watched what daily chlorine exposure actually did to their skin: the dryness that never fully resolved, the tightness before goggles and caps even came off, treating it after the fact, every single time.

Everything on the market seemed to address the after. Nothing addressed the pattern itself.

That observation became NOLÉA.

Read the founder's letter

What began as a search for a better solution evolved into a deeper look at skin barrier science and protective formulation. Stoja began working with formulation experts to explore a new approach to swim skincare — one designed specifically around children, sensitive skin, and frequent swimmers.

That work became NOLÉA AQUASHIELD™ Technology: prepare, protect, recover.

Built at the intersection of science, water, and thoughtful skincare, NOLÉA is developing a new generation of swim-focused products designed to help protect skin before exposure and care for it afterward — without unnecessary ingredients or complicated routines.

For Stoja, NOLÉA is deeply personal. It was inspired by her own children, but created for every family who believes that loving the water shouldn't mean compromising the health of their skin.

Because the water should be where the adventure begins — not where healthy skin ends.
